Fluid change and adaptation reset is genuinely where I’d want any specialist to start before recommending anything more involved on this symptom. S tronic fluid degrades and when it does the clutch engagement in slow traffic is often the first place it shows. It’s a relatively low cost intervention that sometimes resolves exactly what you’re describing completely. A workshop that skips straight to mechatronic replacement recommendations without trying that first isn’t approaching it correctly in my opinion.
