Tried both on my Pathfinder over two separate replacements and the real world difference in stopping power for daily driving was honestly minimal. What was noticeable was how much cleaner the wheels stayed with ceramic and how much quieter the brakes were at low speeds in parking lots. The semi metallic pads did feel slightly more confident during hard stops but I never actually needed that extra margin in normal use. For Fujairah and RAK trips ceramic handles those roads without any issues at all.
