    Hey! I’m considering studying game design but don’t know where to start. Are there programs that teach both creativity and development in a practical way?

    Hi! A great place to start is Vancouver Film School’s Game Design program. It’s a 12-month intensive diploma that teaches students how to design and build a video game while developing both creative and technical skills.

    Students take courses in design, art, and storytelling, and benefit from industry mentorship throughout the program. More details can be found in the middle of the program overview here: https://vfs.edu/programs/game-design which is ideal for future game designers and developers.
