    Accessing the Macro System

Aion 2 has a built-in macro system that supports up to 20 rotations. To get started:

    Open the Macro Window
Press the default key (usually U) or go through the System → Macro menu.
    Create a New Macro
Click New, give it a name (up to 10 characters), and optionally add a description.

    Add Skills
Drag and drop skills from your skill window into the macro box, or type commands manually:

    /Skill [Skill Name]
    Save and Bind
Click Save, then drag the macro icon onto your Quickbar for easy access.
    Customizing Macros for Maximum DPS

    Macros aren’t just about automation—they need fine-tuning.

    1. Left-Click and Right-Click Chains

    Most classes have:

    Left-Click (LMB): 3-chain default attack
    Right-Click (RMB): 2-chain default attack

    A typical macro setup:

Use the first 3 slots for LMB attacks
Follow with 2 slots for RMB attacks
Repeat until your macro hits 20 slots

This keeps your rotation flowing without gaps.

    2. Managing Delays
Start with 50ms delay between commands.
Longer-cast skills need adjusted delays (e.g., a 2-second skill might use a 2.05s delay) to account for animation locks.
Test in-game to ensure skills aren’t skipped or overlapping.
    3. Macro Pausing
While holding your macro key, the sequence pauses automatically if you manually use another off-cooldown skill.
This allows you to weave buffs, situational skills, or emergency heals without stopping your rotation.
    Common Macro Commands
    Command Example What it Does
/Skill [Name] /Skill Power Strike Executes a specific skill
/Use [Item] /Use Greater Life Serum Uses a consumable or gear piece
    /Delay [X] /Delay 0.5 Pauses the macro for X seconds
    /QuickBar /QuickBar 1 1 1 Triggers a skill from a specific Quickbar slot
    Optimization Tips
Test on Dummies: Always check your macro on a DPS dummy first. Ensure no skills are skipped and cooldowns aren’t clashing.
Keep It Short: Don’t overload one macro with every skill. Short, focused macros for rotation segments give better control.
UI Placement: Position your macro Quickbar near your character’s feet and place cooldown timers close by. It helps track readiness without losing focus.
    Final Thoughts

Using macros in Aion 2 is about efficiency and precision. Start simple, test carefully, and gradually refine delays, skill order, and Quickbar placement. Once set up, macros can give you smoother rotations, higher DPS, and more time to focus on strategy instead of frantic clicking.
