Want actual space for six adults

Howdy. Family of four plus we usually bring my brother and his kid along on summer trips, so we need a real six-person tent. Tired of being marketed eight-person tents that fit four maximum with all the gear. Want actual space for six adults and kids comfortably, with room to stand and store stuff. Build quality and durability over the years matters because I do not want to buy a new one every season. Any brands people are actually happy with long-term?

Greetings. Same boat, the marketing numbers are basically a fantasy. After two failed budget tents we got one of the tents for camping 6 person from Hot Tent, the RBM Panda Large. Genuinely fits six adults with sleeping bags and gear, not the lie you get from cheap brands. Standing height throughout, breathable canvas, fast inflation with the pump, no pole fight. Used ours for three years now including two weeks of solid rain across multiple trips, still bone dry inside. Build quality is what convinced me, beams are pressure tested, stitching is clean, zippers do not fail. Investment, but you buy once.
